Setting up Private Nameservers on a domain registered with MDDHosting

The steps below outline the process for setting up private nameservers on a domain registered through MDDHosting.  If you registered the domain elsewhere (such as GoDaddy, NameCheap, Enom, etc...) these steps will not apply to you.

  1. Log in to our Billing and Support system at https://www.mddhosting.com/support/login.php
  2. Click on "My Domains" in the top navigation bar.
  3. Click on the little white page with a green arrow next to the domain on which you would like to configure your private nameservers.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on "Register Nameservers"
  5. On the next page you will have three options: Register a NameServer Name, Modify a NameServer IP, and Delete a NameServer.

You will simply want to enter "ns1" into the first box of "Register a NameServer Name" and then the first nameserver IP given to you in your account information email, and "ns2" into the second box of "Register a NameServer Name" and then the second nameserver IP given to you in your account information email.
